StevenErnest ::: Favorites Dospook's double-chin = reason to keep a beard. ^_^ Az cultivates the "philosopher look" -- so what? So do feldgling and professional film Directors. Everyone has a look -- this is a PoMo world, Dospook; I do the PoMo thing of not cultivating a look -- which is still creating a look. Even though Az is happily married, many of the young ladies on Stickam flirt with him and his cool beard. But that's the effect Wittgenstein has on gals. 07-07-29 14:46:12 __________________________________________________

michelle2chat ::: Favorites hi RealMyth, honestly, most of that is not genuine flirting but just silliness. We're like a family in there. A couple weeks ago, one of the guys I work with came over, put his arm around me and put his face about 2 inches from my cheek and said "hi beautiful, Kathy (the boss) wants to see you". Was he seriously hitting on me or flirting? Nope! Not even a little bit. I would be horrified if anyone on stickam thought I was actually hitting on them just because I talk with them. 07-07-29 21:28:22 __________________________________________________
StevenErnest ::: Favorites michelle2chat: Yes, of course! But even pseudo-flirting is at least giving the person a compliment, playfully so. In no way do I mean to imply that humorous banter between male and female (or in any combination), should necessarily imply "hitting on," etc. I don't think your co-worker was "trying to get into your pants," -- he was giving you a friendly compliment. Az is a very handsome guy, attractive to some gals. Smart too. ^_^ 07-07-30 01:04:49 __________________________________________________
michelle2chat ::: Favorites Cool...someone who understands. Yep, its really just about friendly compliments. Its kinda funny how people can be, some will take you saying "hello" to them as indicative that you have an interest in them when you don't. We are all so friendly at work and its just normal friendship, too bad sometimes ppl on the internet don't understand. Maybe they need to get over themselves if they think everyone who talks to them is hitting on them. LOL. (sorry AZ i'm not talking bout you at all) 07-07-30 01:22:12 __________________________________________________
michelle2chat ::: Favorites p.s. I'm talking about this because its a really uncomfortable thing to be wondering if someone has misunderstood your friendliness. The example I gave of my friend at work, he knows he doesn't have to worry that I would take it the wrong way. Its nice when you can relax and not have to worry that the other person has misunderstood you. I'm glad this subj. came up. 07-07-30 01:29:56 __________________________________________________
StevenErnest ::: Favorites Michelle: I greatly appreciate and admire you for pointing this issue out. I think I'm progressive, but sometimes my generation and male-bias slips by. Your point is well-taken and should be understood by society -- particularly guys -- as much as possible. P.S. I frequently flirt with my Lesbian friends, just a friendly wink, as the guyz in Stickam do some pseudo-gay come-ons to each other. This is how people adapt to much needed cultural changes. 07-07-30 03:33:00 __________________________________________________
KelsoFabulous ::: Favorites are you high? say it outloud: AZ-REE-IN-NOK We would LOVE to have you visit us in the stickam community. Although, I am sure this is a role, you would be unable to play during an actual conversation. 07-07-29 11:49:53 __________________________________________________
