Defense: 3 (not like it matters)
Once again, another Sephiroth fight. Except, to spice it up, I put mass restricitons on myself. Here are the rules:
No Damage
No Drive
No Limit
No Item
No Reflega spam (Only use it on the orbs)
No Summons
No using stat boosts
No Accessories or Armor equipped
Must have Sweet Memories equipped
Must complete before the Roxas fight in TWTNW, which means no Final Form or LV3 Growth Abilities.
Only have any of the following abilities equipped:
Guard
Air-Side Slash/Horizontal Slash
Finishing Rise
Retaliating Slash (shouldn't need it if you don't take damage)
Flash Step (FM only)
Stride Break/Guard Break
Explosion
Aerial Sweep
Aerial Dive (FM only)
Air Spiral
Aerial Finish
Counterguard
High Jump LV2
Quick Run LV2
Dodge Roll LV2
Aerial Dodge LV2
Scan
Aerial Recovery (shouldn't need it if you don't take damage)
Combo Plus (can use one or both)
Air Combo Plus (can use one or both)
Finishing Plus (only can be obtained in FM at LV1)

That's the rules and restrictions for my challenge. I'm not going to explain how I faught against Sephiroth, because I've done so in other videos. You should know how to try to lure him into his combo slash. Though, as always, he'll break out of it eventually so be prepared. Also let me state that pretty much everything will one hit kill you here. One combo slash hit = dead, the upper cut attack = 1/3 HP gone, same with his meteors. Orbs = can kill you in groups. So you're almost forced to do no damage. It'll suck if your strategy is to let him knock you up in the air. I don't know why on earth some people do that strategy.

Q: How do you stay Level 1?
A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up.
Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)?
A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge.
Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here).
A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability.
Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game?
A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher.
Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese!
A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that.
Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2?
A: If you have the fat PS2, like me, get Swap Magic + a Slide Card. I got the Swap Magic 3.6 + Slide Card deal at thegiantstore.com. I also bought KH2FM at play-asia.com
Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1?
A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough.
Q: How come you do more damage than I do in KH2?
A: In Critical Mode, Sora does more damage to the enemies, in return for the enemies hitting you harder. Rest assured, Sora actually does that amount of damage with a Strength stat of 2. Do not forget Sephiroth also has a very weak defense stat.

I have a level 36 proud mode file made for sephy, no final form, and a level 99 file for sephy. There's really no need to discuss it anymore because I no longer have access to final mix, and therefore have no access to a finishing plus at a low level :P

Do you have a lower level file? If you're going to do it at level 99, you might as well equip as many Plus abilities as possible and use just only one finisher.
