Description:
Many people think tortoises are docile. Wrong. The can be very responsive to your signs. In this video, he didn't see any food but knew it was lunch time.
リクガメってのんびりした動きしかしないと思われる方が多いかもしれませんが、どうしてどうして。お昼どきだと知るとまるで小犬 のように駆け寄ってくるんです。食べ物を見せる必要すら無いんです。

Yup, just about a month. He is doing really well so far. *I* am still learning.... but he is a cutie, and I am pretty smitten. He is learning quickly what our household routines are, though (I have MANY animals, and thus many feeding routines) and seems to anticipate them. He is always WATCHING everything that goes on. I never knew he would be so AWARE of things! __________________________________________________ |

Hi kipluck! I'm glad Bratanik is getting along well to his new environment! Isn't it just about a month or two since you got him? __________________________________________________ |

My RT, Bratanik definitely is starting to know Lunch Time before he sees food and gets all happy and excited. It is adorable! __________________________________________________ |

I kept mine on a balcony like this. I'd open the door and he'd run inside. One day he got into the cat food, ate a piece and loved it. After that I always removed the cat food before letting him in but for over a year he always ran to that spot and spun around, looking for the cat food. He never forgot it! __________________________________________________ |
