What makes FF7 so great and some may find it hard to articulate is that Cloud, the main protagonist, is struggling with his own identity throughout the entire game. He's much like Jason bourne, a heart of gold yet he can whop some ass. I think a lot of gamers relate with him. Also every other character in the game breaths so much life.
