I never got to see him perform live in person -- I was supposed to see him in New York City in the summer of 1987, but he died that spring and they cancelled all his concerts. I did see him perform on "The Tonight Show" a couple times, but that was it. I've played the piano for over 30 years and took Classical piano lessons for 12 years and could never come close to performing the way Liberace did. God Bless this man as he will never be replaced.
