Description: Crowfeather sighed. He had been listening to Brambleclaw jabber about his life ever since the Gathering began, and the Gathering was almost over. But Brambleclaw gave no sign of slowing down. And Crowfeather was growing more irritated with every word. "-And now I've got all of these deputy responsibilities! Just because I'm deputy, doesn't mean I'll do everything that Graystripe ever did. And Ashfur still won't forgive Squirrelflight for using him, chewing him up, and spitting him out. And, since she now has kits, Squirrelflight's being all moody and..." he trailed off shaking his head, "You have no idea what it's like!" he meowed, just as Crowfeather snapped. "Do you ever feel like breaking down? Do you ever feel out of place, like somehow you just don't belong and no one understands you?" Crowfeather growled, sitting up, his amber eyes glittering dangerously. "Do you ever wanna run away? Do you shut yourself far away, with so many miles between you and them, that no one hears you screaming? No! You don't know what it's like when nothin' feels alright! You don't know what it's like to be like me!" Crowfeather snarled, leaping to his feet. Brambleclaw blinked in shock, and opened his mouth to reply, but Crowfeather cut him off. "To be hurt! To feel lost! To be left out in the dark! To be kicked when you're down, and feel like you've been pushed around... to be on the edge of breaking down, and no one's there to save you! No, you don't know what it's like... Welcome to my life!" Crowfeather spat. Crowfeather snorted, and he lowered his tone from shouting, to simply loud meowing. "Do you wanna be somebody else? Are you sick of feeling so left out? Are you desperate to find something more before your life is over? Are you stuck inside a world you hate? Are you sick of everyone around?" Crowfeather growled, motioning to all the warriors who had gathered in a circle around them to hear Crowfeather's rant. "With the big fake smiles and stupid lies... while deep inside you're bleeding. No! You don't know what it's like when nothin' feels alright! You don't know what it's like to be like me!" Crowfeather's voice raised back up to yelling. Brambleclaw was silent this time, as Crowfeather continued. "To be hurt! To feel lost! To be left out in the dark! To be kicked when you're down, and feel like you've been pushed around... to be on the edge of breaking down, and no one's there to save you! No, you don't know what it's like... Welcome to my life!" he snarled in fury. He leapt to his paws, fur bristling and eyes blazing. "Crowfeather! Calm down!" Brambleclaw snarled, rising to his feet. But Crowfeather was beyond his reach, and could not be calmed. "No one ever lied straight to your face! And no one ever stabbed you in the back! You might think I'm happy but I'm not going to be okay!" Crowfeather began pacing in front of Brambleclaw, "Everybody always gave you what you wanted. You never had to work, it was always there. You don't know what it's like! What it's like!" Crowfeather stopped pacing, and put his face an inch away from Brambleclaw's. "To be hurt. To feel lost. To be left out in the dark. To be kicked when you're down, and feel like you've been pushed around... To be on the edge of breaking down, and no one's there to save you!! No, you don't know what it's like... To be hurt! No, you don't know what it's like..." Crowfeather trailed off, and backed away from Brambleclaw. "Welcome to my life..." the dark-colored tom sat down.
