Description: First submission to Youtube! O_o It should be noted that I'm a little bit of a music pundit rather than a video maker, so my first point of focus is using that skill as a central focal point. And this has to make a fitting montage; just recently my fetish in Spyro the Dragon managed to get broader and broader, so it's fair that I'll base my first sub on the idea of wondering what kind of scenario would occur if Spyro was a chosen game franchise given the orchestration treatment at a Videogames Live concert. Heck, I even got around to arranging Stewart Copeland's already amazing music into what is essentially an orchestrated setup with a drum kit. Please sit back and enjoy; all comments are much appreciated. |

RedDevilDazzy2007 ::: Favorites I love this video, always will love it. 5 Stars. 07-09-09 15:32:12 __________________________________________________
freqrexy ::: Favorites In the case of the earlier Spyro titles I recorded with an emulator (bad idea: it's sluggish as hell!!); the others were trailers and assorted footage from elsewhere (heck, there's no way I'd replay Enter the Dragonfly). To create the music I used Cubase SX. There's two 'making of' videos describing the proces on my account. So yes, that was a MIDI bank (though a better one than the standard GM default lol). Thanks for the comment :D 07-09-08 20:51:38 __________________________________________________
pianomanandrew ::: Favorites That's really good. How did you get the video from the game and make a movie of it and what program did you use to create the music? It sounds like midi or sampled sounds. 07-09-08 20:13:11 __________________________________________________
Timotheus10 ::: Favorites Okay. Thanks. Nice job. I may be coming back to you for some help. I need someone who can write music. 07-09-08 14:12:45 __________________________________________________
freqrexy ::: Favorites This IS my video, and no, I made the music track myself. It was clearly said in the image description ;) 07-09-08 05:33:07 __________________________________________________
Timotheus10 ::: Favorites Do you know where I can get the music? Did you find it on LimeWire? Or is this not your video? 07-09-08 02:02:39 __________________________________________________

freqrexy ::: Favorites No, it's a modern symphonic medley that I arranged myself. If you want to know the tracks, I'll state them here: Spyro 1 - Spyro 1 Opening Titles Spyro 2 - Spyro 2 Opening (Glimmer) Spyro 3 - Misty Bog (usually the end credits for all three Insomniac titles) Enter the Dragonfly - Spyro 3 Fireworks Factory A Hero's Tail - Spyro 3 Sunny Villa A New Beginning - Spyro 2 Ripto's Arena The mixed montage at the end - Enter the Dragonfly End Credits Thanks for the comment tho ^^ 07-08-15 05:46:29 __________________________________________________ |
