I don't use a filter anymore on them, but I do have an airstone wich doesn't make the water move that much. I used to filter mine but I read that because they have a really sensitive lateral line that constant water disturbance can really bother them. I've had mine for a little over 13 years now, raised him/her from a set of eggs I got through the mail. I had recently installed a filter in his tank but have since removed it. He does appear more at ease with the filter removed. He used to swim around a lot, seemed really agitated. __________________________________________________ | |
