roythearcher ::: Favorites 2007-10-21 12:44:18 Iv'e seen the results of a "Robin Hood" and the arrow does not split down its entire length but looks like as peeled banana for about a quater of the way down. Unless the point is razor sharp and is shot absolutely perfectly (not possible due to archers paradox) and the shaft it hits is perfectly straight then it won't ever happen!!! __________________________________________________
Dizzster ::: Favorites 2007-09-16 12:49:47 I do archery, and find thyis shot hard, ive done it one or twice. It's down to the precision of the nocking points. ;) __________________________________________________
sandcrab132 ::: Favorites 2007-07-23 05:40:00 thats usually only possible with carbon arrowshafts, as aluminum arrows frequent nock mounting systems such as the UNI bushing, making splitting an arrow from nock to pile impossible. Carbon arrows have insert nocks most of the time, so if you split the nock, the arrow will go right down to the tip. Here he's put a thin carbon into a thick aluminum (without a UNI bushing). __________________________________________________
Pismigioeret ::: Favorites 2007-07-17 09:08:39 -- The Real "Robin Hood" ish one is where you fire an arrow into another arrow splitting the arrow appart __________________________________________________
Pismigioeret ::: Favorites 2007-07-17 09:06:26 That shot IS impossible because of the way the arrow swings.. It was more of a pipe he fired it INTO.. __________________________________________________
