Description: Feeling once again my blood sugar rise and my state of mind depress, I decided I should put together a video response summarizing my version of this examination of what it is that diabetes makes you feel, and what it does to your pocketbook. I feel that it does the same thing to all diabetics who are insulin dependent. There is a will to survive that keeps us going despite the depravity of the soul that is a direct result of living with the disease. We are a triumphant example of the strength of the human spirit! Ah yes, and finally I have discovered the avenue for expressing the artwork that is my personal collection of one year's worth of insulin vials! Thank you Diabetoboy! We should go to diabetes camp and try to video the other side of this disease and contrast the desperation of our videos with the hope and comeraderie that is present when you have a room filled with 150 people who all know exactly how eachother feels because everybody has a broken pancreas.

hawk4444 ::: Favorites I beg to differ sir. my grandma is also old and has had that for a long time. All it takes is watching your blood sugars and taking proper amounts of insulin. The only way it'll kill you is if you don't care enough to take care of yourself. I'm sorry about your family members pump failure. He/she shouldn't of relyed on it to heavily. You can feel that sort of thing. All my diabetic relatives say they can feel whether there low or not. Sorry.
