Holding records for speed cubing i can personally tell you that there is no magical reverse camera trick here, or what not. There are competitions around the world related to this. Basically its just looking at the cube, deciding which method to solve with, and solving it. You do the same thing without a blind fold, except, without, you can change your method of solve. Then you take the blindfold off and act like you are memorizing where everything is.
