Description:

This is for all of you who insist that Michael Moore clearly states Cuba is listed below the U.S. when in fact he never mentions that. Of course later he praises Cuba for having such a great health care system. For people who state I obviously have not watched it, I have. More info: http://www.malagent.com/?p=158 If you want to comment it must be intelligent and relevant, otherwise I will delete it. This means no name calling or Ron Paul for president comments. As mentioned in the comments here is a link for the video "Stupid in America" http://www.malagent.com/?p=158

However, when he's getting an interview another reporter asks him something and tells him she's from Bosnia. His respond is nothing but stupid. His respond is something like stop interrupting slovenia and not slovakia as you always do (or smthg like that) which makes me doubt he even knows how the things are around here.

Well I think i rather see someone that doesn't know where or what Slovenia is, than having him saying "Oh that's the country with the low HC". Another fact is he states this way there won't be more mistakes between Slovenia and Slovakia... Only people living far away from those countries confuse them...

I haven't seen the movie yet, guess i'll be waiting for the DVD, but for what I have seen, Moore is trying to make a second Kazahstan (which is a beautiful country and everyone knows that). I bet American people will go around asking Slovenians if we know what the aspirine is or something like that. MIchael Moore stated in an interview that his comment of Slovenia can be just an advantage for us, since American people don't even know of it.

hefic, Thanks for the info. It sounds like your HC system is not much different than ours in terms of services.

hey, I'm from Slovenia and I can assure u our health system is not so bad as shown in this documentary. Even a hobop will be treated well. H. insurance is payed by the employers (netto payment) and by social service for those without job. Rich can pay private services for faster treatment for not urgent mathers. Private hospitals are not neccesary payed from pocket, they have contracts and are payed also from public budget. This is to cut down the queue in public hospitals.

It's an obvious lie on Moore's part. 1 He stated he just got in a boat to go to Guantanamo 2 9/11 workers say it was planned, Cuban Dr's had developed new techniques for treating lung cancer etc. 3 Moore, applied to OFAC on 10/1206 for permission to travel to Cuba

re "I have also heard that Michael Moore admitted setting up the care in Cuba" I sure would like to hear more on that. Moore says he only planned to go to the base, then when they were surprisingly turned down he decided to try the hospital. Sure.
